Elzevir Gelderbloem is an Executive Port Authority and Project Manager of the expansion project at Namibian Port Authorities' new Port Terminal at Walvis Bay, Namibia. He is hopeful that with the increase in port capacity, there will be better regional integration among SADC countries with better opportunities for employment, cheaper freight rates and a knock on positive impact on other industries.
