For many African economies infrastructure is one major stumbling block when it comes to driving up exports. A deep seaport can come in quite handy. In the south, Cape Town and Durban are the main ports, dominating the market. But Namibia is now set to change that. Just a few weeks ago, the new port in Walvis Bay went into operation.
