A senior officer at the Walvis Bay Corridor Group has urged government to invest in infrastructure development through public-private partnership.
Speaking at the fourth annual Public Private Partnership Conference held in Windhoek, Gilbert Boois says most governments in the world are confronted with social versus economic infrastructure which they are expected to equally address.
Boois says Namibia's national budget is severely constrained with nearly 71% of the total budget going towards social and public safety nets.
