WINDHOEK, 05 JUN (NAMPA) – Construction of the approximately N.dollars 4.3 billion container terminal in Walvis Bay has reached 85 per cent completion with commissioning projected for 2019, China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) announced on Tuesday.
In a media statement, the company, which was contracted by the Namibian Port Authority (Namport) to construct the container terminal in 2013, said it would be one of the largest terminals on the African continent.
