AFRODITE BEACH, 10 MAR (NAMPA) -
Members of the Namibian Defence Force’s navy and army wings and Namibian Port Authority officials were involved in cleaning up an oil spill at Afrodite Beach on Friday and Saturday.
The clean-up also involved officials from the Walvis Bay Municipality’s fire department and the Department of Maritime Affairs in the Ministry of Works and Transport.
Acting director in the Department of Maritime Affairs, Patrick Lishebo refused to comment.
