External Bursaries

This is aimed at financially assisting deserving Namibian learners especially from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue studies at undergraduate or postgraduate level at Institutions of Higher Learning accredited by the Namibian Qualification Authority (NQA). 50% of bursaries are prioritised to Marine fields. All bursaries are full board. Covering full tuition fees, books, accommodation, monthly stipend, and transport costs to and from the student hometown twice per year.

To qualify for the External Bursary Scheme, applicant:

• Must be registered at an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Must have a good academic performance record, proofed by the latest academic report.
• Must be a Namibian citizen or permanent residence,
• Special consideration will be given to applicants from economic disadvantage background.
