PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The graduate development programme seeks to provide graduates with an opportunity to begin their careers as a pathway to employment in an environment that continues their professional development and training under dedicated mentors across the business. The duration of the programme is twenty-four (24) months. Participants will receive a monthly allowance for the duration of the programme.

  1. Software Development × 2
  2. Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Informatics/ Internal Audit ×3
  3. Human Resources/ Industrial and Organisational Psychology ×2
  4. Marketing ×1
  5. Logistics and Supply Chain Management/ Port Management / Maritime Transport / Transport Management ×4
  6. Industrial Engineering ×2
  7. Chartered Accounting ×2
  8. Quantity Surveying ×1
  9. Civil Engineering ×2
  10. Graphic Design ×1
  11. Electrical Engineering ×1

Requirements:
Final Year Students:

  • Must be enrolled at a higher institution accredited by the Namibian Qualification Authority (NQA) studying towards a relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) or Honors Degree (NQF Level 8).
  • Demonstrate academic performance of at least 60%.

Graduates:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) or Honors Degree (NQF Level 8).
  • Qualification should not older than three (3) years.
  • Willingness and ability to commit to a 24-month employment agreement.
  • Student/ Graduate should not be bonded by any contractual obligations with other institutions.
  • Applicants must specify their preferred duty station (Port of Walvis Bay or Port of Lüderitz) in their application.
