PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To support the treasury function in managing cash flows, optimizing financial resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance. The role contributes to financial planning, banking relationships, risk management, financial reporting, and investment management within the organization's treasury operations.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Provide input to divisional Opex and Capex Budget and Expenditure.
• Prepare daily cash flow statements.
• Assist in financial planning and analysis activities related to treasury functions.
• Support the investment management activities, such as evaluating investment opportunities, assessing risk-return profiles, and monitoring investment portfolios.
• Deal with treasury systems and technology platforms to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Process monthly bank & cash and investment journals.
• Administer foreign payments.
• Perform bank administration.
• Interact with banks and financial institutions on behalf of the organization.
