NAMDOCK’S long-term goal is to ensure sustainable organic growth whilst generating more value to all stakeholders involved of which very importantly are their shareholders. The Namibian Ports Authority (‘NAMPORT’) remains the key shareholder (52.5 percent) of NAMDOCK.
The EBH Consortium acquired the balance of 47.5 percent of shares in April 2018. The acquisition has repositioned NAMDOCK to be a full-service provider with world class marine repair facilities and service acumen.
NAMDOCK owns three floating docks at Walvis Bay.
NAMDOCK’S highly efficient shipyard includes 3 floating docks, 7 cranes, 1 x 60T floating crane, with fully equipped onsite workshops.
The floating docks have a combined lifting capacity of 29,500 metric tonnes (mt): Namdock I, has a lifting capacity of 8,000 mt; Namdock II of 6,500 mt and Namdock III of 15,000 mt.
