The offloading of 42 000 tonnes of sulphur destined for Swakop Uranium from the Yi Long Shan earlier this month has set a new record for bulk commodities at the Port of Walvis Bay, the Namibian Ports Authority (Namport) has reported.

The highest volume previously handled was 30 000 tons.
