Government extends lockdown until 4 May

Government has extended the current lockdown of the Khomas and Erongo Regions, to 4 May.
The movement of people in the rest of the country will also be under strict control over the same period.
The lockdown was to lapse on Friday at midnight. President Hage Geingob who made the announcement emphasised that the aim is to curb the spread of COVID-19, even though Namibia's confirmed cases remain at 16.
