PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF THE NAMPORT SOCIAL INVESTMENT FUND [NSIF]:
To position Namport as a responsible corporate citizen who is committed to make a meaningful contribution to the development and upliftment of the people of Namibia across all 14 regions through innovation and sustainable community empowerment and environmental management; in line with international trends relating to corporate social engagement as well as in line with international corporate governance practices.
To become a partner, together with the Funds Stakeholders, and other relevant parties with a proven track record in the development and upliftment of vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in funding projects which are aimed at poverty alleviation, job creation / income generation, Education and Skills Development , Fostering Entrepreneurship and Job Creation, Community Health and Wellbeing, Environmental Sustainability, in accordance with guidelines developed by the Fund.
